Communities are vital in moving forward with everyday life and communities are a perfect representation of the old adage that no man is an island. We all need to belong, we all need to be part of a larger social unit. Flourishing communities that we desire to belong to operate in harmony, exhibits partnerships between its smaller units and among members, and is weaved in love. The Ateneo Residence Halls, for which ARSA (Ateneo Resident Students Association) exists, is one such community, and is more than just a dormitory. It's a place to shelter students coming from all over the country, but more than that, ARSA creates avenues for the community to make it feel more like home.
Recently they held a party at 42nd Events Place on Xavierville Avenue and our photobooth Manila team participated to spice up the party with some flickapalooza fun. For ARSAns, what more can you ask for, their community manifested strong relationships, cohesive partnerships, and true enough - love - both philial and romantic.
