Unilever's Supply Chain group didn't get to enjoy an Away Day last year, so, this year they booked two days of fun at Club Punta Fuego in Balaytigue, Nasugbu, Batangas. Where fun is, Flickapalooza Photo Booth Manila is mostly likely there too! Bundled with the photo and video coverage package of Anton Jeremiah, Unilever's Supply Chain group didn't need to rent third-party picture station provider.
Club Punta Fuego is perfect for team-building activities similar to the itineraries of Unilever's Supply Chain group. While the venue is primarily a residential club, it accepts booking for corporate functions. Especially on a weekday, the entire area is practically quiet and you can be one with nature to your heart's content. Amenities include indoor and outdoor lounges, three swimming pools including an infinity pool, a reception hall for dinner and programs, outdoor facilities for team-building. Here's an aerial view of Club Punta Fuego, photo courtesy of the coverage team.
Upon registration, guests were ushered to have their pictures taken, to loosen up a bit, and grab their souvenir prints from the booth. The theme of the event is superhero. While a few already wore their themed attire, most came in casual wears.
The queue picked-up slowly while the attendants were settling in and sipping their Batangas original Barako coffee. After a good while and after some brave souls got the knack of it, others followed suit. Here are a few samples from the morning run of the photo booth rental.
After the employees settled, the first part of the program included venue orientation, itineraries briefing, performance report, and a few minutes to entertain the questions. Lunch was served at the buffet table with sumptuous savory dishes and mouth-salivating desserts. The employees were given enough time to check-in in their rooms, wash-up, and rest a bit. After-which, the outdoor activities began with relentless rounds of running, flexing, turning, falling, crawling, and cheering. The main objective of all these activities is a two-pronged goal, fun and camaraderie. Getting different personalities to work together is hard but we can all learn how to work around it.
After all the physical activities, some bruises, and soar joints, the participants were given some time to rest and freshen up for dinner. The dinner program included group presentations and awarding. Of course, we're back for the night's run of the photo booth rental. Set up at the dinner hall, the Flickapalooza fun continued. Here's a few select prints from the evening run.
There's no better way to sum up everything that transpired on the first day of the event than with a cinematic visual presentation of the same-day edit (SDE). So here it is.
